Held at the Bahrain International Circuit on the 4th of December 2019, Jaguar Land Rover Bahrain welcomed well over 500 guests to participate in one of the most exhilarating drive events ever to take place in the Kingdom.
The event saw a remarkable turnout of Jaguar Land Rover fans and motoring enthusiasts from Bahrain, as well as wider Middle East consumers, all of whom enjoyed and participated in thrilling and adrenaline-filled drives. During the occasion, guests had the choice of either putting the spectacular Jaguar F-TYPE through its paces on the state-of-the-art Formula One Track in Sakhir or taking the challenge of handling a dynamic Land Rover SUV through the world-class Land Rover Experience track.
Adding to the occasion, guests had the opportunity to witness various unique design concepts of futuristic automobiles inspired by Jaguar Land Rover produced by teams participating in Jaguar Land Rover Bahrain Young Creatives Initiative. The teams were made up of students from top universities in Bahrain, namely University of Bahrain, Bahrain polytechnic and American university of Bahrain.
Present at the event, Mr. Stephen Lay, the General Manager of Euro Motors Jaguar Land Rover, commented; “I would like to thank all the guests who joined us at the BIC for this amazing drive event. This was not the first time we have witnessed success on such a massive scale as many of our previous collaborations with BIC have yielded similar turnouts. The Jaguar Experience drives have been designed to ensure that guests are given a dynamic, hands-on and, prominently, memorable experience. To complement the drives, guests also got the chance to visit the Jaguar Experience lounge which acts as the central hub of operations showcasing a diverse range of stunning branded goods that were on sale. This gave guests the perfect opportunity to purchase enduring souvenirs to take home with them.
The Land Rover Experience covers 3.5 kilometres of varying terrains such as sand, rock, hill and water landscapes. There are 33 natural and man-made obstacles allowing guests to traverse terrain including slide slopes, humps, rocks, gravel roads and watercourses, all the while assessing the driving environment, maximizing the capability and technology of the vehicle and most importantly developing driving skills in the world’s most capable luxury vehicles.
