Euro Motors launches all-new BMW Motorrad S 1000 RR in Bahrain.

Euro Motors (EM), the official importer of BMW Group vehicles in Bahrain, has announced the launch of the all-new BMW S 1000 RR, the superlative superbike that takes the pole position in ultimate performance, across the Kingdom as BMW Motorrad celebrates its global centenary this year.

Featuring enhancements to the chassis, suspension, aerodynamics, and electronic assist systems, the 2023 BMW Motorrad S 1000 RR stands apart as the pinnacle of passion on the road – driven by the successful transfer of the BMW experience from the racetrack to the high-performance BMW ShiftCam four-cylinder engine in the RR.

The all-new 2023 BMW Motorrad S 1000 RR was launched at a glittering ceremony on February 1^st at the BMW Motorrad showroom in Manama, and was attended by senior management from Euro Motors, proud BMW Motorrad owners from across Bahrain, prospective customers, and motorbike connoisseurs. Mr. David McGoldrick, General Manager of Euro Motors Bahrain, and Mr. Ali Al Asfoor, BMW Motorrad Showroom Manager, unveiled the sleek new bike amid fanfare and celebrations.

The all-new BMW S 1000 RR features a 999 cc high-performance BMW ShiftCam four-cylinder engine delivering an additional 3hp output to total 210hp at 13,000 rpm. Among new features, increased rear wheel traction in all gears is provided by a shorter secondary gear ratio using a sprocket with 46 instead of 45 teeth.

Boasting a six-speed gearbox, the BMW Motorrad S 1000 RR now permits gearshifts with overrun upshifts and overrun downshifts and provides improved load change damping for more precision and control. The all-new model also features a lowered steering head angle of 66.4° and reduced offset of the fork bridges at 25.5 mm for even better front wheel accuracy. The six-stage DTC traction control with the new steering angle sensor enables two new functions: Brake Slide Assist for deceleration and Slide/Slip Control for acceleration. The 2023 BMW S 1000 RR can be equipped with an optional electronically controlled Dynamic Damping Control (DDC) suspension linked to the riding modes.
